Company Annouces Promotions
Glens Falls National Bank and Trust Company has announced the promotions
of Sandy L. Hoffis to Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager
of the Broad Street Office, Heather L. Cicero to Branch Manager
of the Argyle Office and Kimberly A. Romano to Branch Manager of
the Lake Luzerne Office.
Mrs. Hoffis joined the Bank in 2005 as an Assistant Branch Manager
and Officer of the Argyle Office with over 14 years of banking experience.
In 2007, she was appointed to Branch Manager and Officer of the
Argyle Office. In 2009, Mrs. Hoffis was elected to the Bank’s High
Performance Club, and in 2008, was the winner of the Community Service
Volunteer of the Quarter Award, she also was a recipient of the
“20 Under 40” Award presented by the Post Star in 2008.
Mrs. Cicero joined Glens Falls National in 2007 as a Teller and
was promoted to Assistant Branch Manager of Saratoga National Bank
and Trust Company. In 2008, she rejoined Glens Falls National as
an Assistant Branch Manager.
Ms. Romano started with the Bank in 1988 as a Teller. In 1999,
she joined the Bank’s Financial Services Operation until becoming
a Teller/Head Teller at Saratoga National Bank and Trust Company.
She returned to Glens Falls National as an Assistant Branch Manager
in Branch Services until 2008, when she became the Assistant Branch
Manager for the Aviation Road Office.

Glens Falls National Bank and Trust Company has announced the promotions
of Olga Osuchowski to Assistant Vice President and Residential Mortgage
Assistant Manager in the Direct Consumer Lending Department and
Craig M. Seybolt to Corporate Banking Officer in the Corporate Banking
Department.

Directors
Thomas L. Hoy, Chairman, President and C.E.O. of Glens Falls National
Bank and Trust Company, has announced the appointments of Tenée
Rehm Casaccio and Dr. Colin Read to the Board of Directors of the
Bank.
Ms. Casaccio is President of JMZ Architects and Planners, P.C.
in Glens Falls. She is a native of Bolton Landing and a graduate
of Bolton Central School. Ms. Casaccio earned her Bachelor of Architecture
Degree from Virginia Tech, in Blacksburg, Virginia. She is licensed
in New York, Maryland and Pennsylvania and is a member of the American
Institute of Architects (AIA) and New York State Association of
Architects, and the Society for College and University Planning
(SCUP).
Ms. Casaccio has been actively involved in her community. She is
a graduate of the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce (ARCC)
1994 Leadership Class; co-chaired the formation of the ARCC Network
for Enterprising Women; and served as the Chair of the ARCC Board
of Directors. In 2000, Tenée was recognized by the Capital District
Business Review as one of the “40 Under 40” individuals who made
a difference in their professions and communities. She is a former
Director of the Warren County Economic Development Corporation and
the Hudson River Local Development Corporation (HRLDC) and a member
of the Glens Falls National Bank’s Regional Advisory Board. She
is a Trustee of The Hyde Collection and serves as the Chair of their
Facilities Committee.
Dr. Read is a Full Professor of Economics and Finance and a former
Dean of the School of Business and Economics Department at the State
University of New York at Plattsburgh. He is the Director of The
Institute for Development and Economic Analysis, sponsored by The
Development Corporation. He also operates Economic Insights, a regional
economics and management consulting firm. He is a former research
associate at the Harvard Joint Center for Housing Studies and has
served the Ministry of Finance in Indonesia under contract from
the Harvard Institute for International Development.
Dr. Read has an M.S. and a Ph.D. in Economics from Queens University
and received his Juris Doctorate in Law from the University of Connecticut.
He also holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the
University of Alaska Fairbanks, and a Masters of Accounting in Taxation
from the University of Tulsa. He has taught economics and finance
for 25 years, is a Professor Emeritus at the University of Alaska
Fairbanks, and has written several economic and taxation books and
dozens of papers on market failure, volatility and housing markets.
He appears monthly on the regional Public Broadcasting Station’s
Mountain Lake Journal Business Edition to discuss the regional and
national economy, and writes the weekly “Everybody’s Business” column
for The Press Republican.
Dr. Read is the President-Elect of the Plattsburgh Noontime Chapter
of Rotary International and serves on a number of community boards,
including the CVPH Pension Committee, the Community Providers Inc.,
and the Clinton County Empire Zone. He is also Chair of the Town
of Plattsburgh Comprehensive Land Use Plan Committee, and is Founder
and President of Charity for Economic Empowerment of the North Country.
Dr. Read also serves as a member of Glens Falls National Bank’s
Regional Advisory Board.
