INSURANCE We offer Term Life, Permanent such as
Whole Life and Universal Life, Long-Term Care and Disability
Insurance products.
• Term Life Insurance: Written for a
specific period of time, typically 5, 10, 15 and 20 years, term
life is relatively inexpensive. We offer two types of term life
insurance, level term and decreasing term. Level term holds
the coverage constant while decreasing term is useful when a
large amount of coverage needed early on diminishes over time.
• Permanent Insurance: Permanent insurance
is available in many forms (Whole Life, Universal Life, Variable
Life, etc.). It has a cash value buildup in addition to a death
benefit and thus serves two purposes, savings and basic life
protection.
• Long-Term Care Insurance: Planning
for the potential need for long-term care, whether at home or
in a facility such as a nursing home, has increasingly focused
on long-term care insurance as a means of protecting family
assets and relieving family burdens. Our in-house specialist
can explain options and access a variety of policies from a
number of carriers to best suit your needs, including policies
eligible under the New York State Partnership Plan.
• Disability Insurance: Disability income
insurance provides replacement income when wages or other forms
of income such as professional fees are lost due to a disability.
It provides the insured with a guaranteed flow of periodic payments
while the individual is disabled.
